Teresa is a contemporary visual artist. She uses a wide variety of materials to express her impressions and feelings of the different places in the world she has lived. She has developed a mixed visual vocabulary, where east and west meets, creating a unique style and personality.

Teresa’s mixed media pieces are a narrative of her own imagery, albeit an abstract one. One of her Japanese artist’s friends narrows down her art as “wabi-sabi”. Wabi meaning the beauty to be found in simplicity and Sabi, the elegant quiet simplicity.
